We are very excited to announce that The Moody Family YMCA is OPEN as of Wednesday, September 28, 2016! As we continue through the construction process we want to make clear that this is a soft opening as we continue to finish the facility. Like all our members and our community, the staff is extremely excited about the opening, and look forward to seeing our Y friends and family.
As of Wednesday, we are able to offer the main wellness facilities, lap pool, childwatch, full locker rooms, and gymnasium for your use, along with the welcome area complete with your Y coffee.
Over the next couple of weeks, as the finishing construction completes, we can open our group exercise rooms, cycle class and therapy pools. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we work out the kinks to make your Y a truly special place.
The Moody Family YMCA will continue to operate with the same hours:
- Monday - Thursday, 5:30am to 9:00pm
- Friday, 5:30am to 8:00pm
- Saturday, 7:00am to 6:00pm
- Sunday, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
One of the most exciting parts of our new facility is the underground parking!
- Please enter the parking area from the south off Normandy Blvd. This will take you down into the parking garage.
- From here you may enter the facility from the south access that includes elevators and stairs up to the main from welcome area.
- Remember, no surface parking is available around the YMCA.
We appreciate your continued understanding as we await the completion, and are thankful for the efforts of numerous staff members, contractors, city officials and stakeholders who are working towards a successful opening of the new YMCA.
