Troop 35 was established in 1937, originally chartered at Armstrong Elementary in Highland Park, and we're celebrating our 79th year!   We are a small, Scout led, activity focused troop. With the support of our parents and adult leaders, we strive to become Eagle Scouts and along the way we learn valuable skills and build long-lasting friendships.

Our Scouts are able to take on many leadership roles and work around their other activities because of our Troop size.  One of the coolest things (pun intended) is that we get out of the Texas heat for summer camp – this year we went to camp in New Mexico and last year it was Colorado. And, if it is high adventure you like, The National Jamboree, Philmont and Seabase have been the latest summer adventures for some of our older scouts.

Scouts and their parents also enjoy a family weekend trip every January.  Last year we stayed at Lost Pines Resort outside of Austin and had a private tour of the State Capitol.
