Plano West Senior High School Mini Wolfpack Cheer Clinic

Saturday, September 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

August 25, 2015, (Plano, TX) Back to school in Plano, Texas means football and everything that goes with it. The Plano West Senior High School Cheerleaders are hosting a Mini Wolfpack Cheer Clinic to help get kids from kindergarten through fifth grade in the spirit and ready to cheer!  

The 2015-2016 Plano West Senior High Varsity and Junior Varsity roster includes graduates from Jasper and Shepton High School, Frankford, Renner, Rice and Robinson Middle Schools; and Andrews, Barksdale, Brinker, Centennial, Daffron, Gulledge, Haun, Hightower, Huffman, Jackson, Mitchell, Rose Haggar, Skaggs and Wyatt Elementary Schools.  

The Mini Wolfpack Cheer Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, September 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Competition Gym at Plano West Senior High School, 5601 W. Parker Road.  Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity squads will work with the participants on cheer techniques and skills and chants and cheers. The clinic will end with a show-off performance beginning at 3:30 p.m.  The cost of the clinic is $30 and checks are payable to PISD Cheer. Funds raised from the clinic will be used to support cheer activities throughout the year.

“We are so excited to get some of our youngest Wolfpack fans in the football spirit and get them excited about the sport of cheerleading,” said Meghann Dodd, Varsity Coach. “It will be a really fun Saturday afternoon and a great way to learn some cheers and work on good cheer technique.”

Additionally the booster club will raffle off several chances to cheer for a quarter at a Plano West Senior High School game. Pre-registration will be accepted and you can also register on the day of the event from 12:00-12:45 in the Plano West Competition Gym Foyer.
