The University Park Preschool Association (UPPA) is pleased to announce their 4th annual UP ALL NIGHT father/child urban campout, taking place April 22-23, 2017 at UP Elementary.   Priority registration will kick off on February 16th with open registration beginning on February 27th.  The UP All Night campout is expected to be a sell-out once again with families being added to the wait list.  Last year’s event was a HUGE SUCCESS and raised over $100,000 for University Park Elementary School.

The Friday before UP All Night, Mimi’s Pizza will provide kids’ lunches at UP Elementary, with water provided by Elliott & Elliott Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate.

On Saturday, campers will check-in, pitch their tents and prepare for an afternoon chock full of activities and an evening of fun.  Exciting new additions to the campout this year include a coconut tree climb, bumper soccer, human hamster balls, spider climb, and Jacobs ladder.  We will also be bringing back the “Dads Zone”, sponsored by our Lead Sponsor, Saint Bernard.  Some of last year’s favorites will also return including laser tag, giant double slide, fishing, board breaking, obstacle course, foam bow and arrow target practice and many more!  We have several surprises this year too!

Jam out to the DJ in the park during the day and then head back over to the sport court for an evening dinner by Burger House and Slim Chickens.  The band “Friday Night School”, with UP dad Kent Messer, will entertain during the dinner hours followed by the nighttime “GLOW” dance party under the stars to kick off the night!  The campers will watch a video of all their day’s fun before settling down to a short movie and lights out!  Sunday morning, campers will enjoy breakfast by Rusty Taco before they pack out of UP Elementary.

“This year’s UP ALL NIGHT campout promises to be our best yet”, said Jen Clifton, President of UPPA.  “Our chairs, Leslie Fitzgerald, Emily Lewin, Kristin Moore, and Courtney Wegman have truly pulled together an extraordinary day and night of activities.  We are also incredibly grateful to the City of University Park, the underwriters, sponsors, volunteers, and of course our new and ever supportive Principal, Mrs. Candi Judd, who has quickly joined on in helping us to make this yet another successful year for UP All Night!

To date, many local business and families have generously agreed to donate to UP ALL NIGHT.   We are thrilled to announce that Saint Bernard has signed on to be the returning lead sponsor of UP ALL Night 2017!  Other sponsors including Robert Elliott Custom Homes, Medical City Children's Hospital and Crest Painting/Sherwin Williams are on board once again to help with the festivities.  Additionally, Avison Young, Brian Moore with Merrill Lynch, Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty, City Bank of Texas, Ellen Grasso & Sons, LLC, Elliott & Elliott Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, Galleria Office Towers, KBS Realty, Origin Bank, Sapphire Foundation, Inc., Scott Webster, MD with Urology Clinics of North Texas, Sewell Automotive Companies, Sky Ranch and Tolleson Wealth Management are sponsoring the event.   Those interested in supporting the event, please contact Kristin Moore at Kristin_Moore@uhc.com.
