Brownies from University Park Elementary School shared the sweet taste of success when they donated $300 from Girl Scout cookie sales to Operation Kindness on April 13, 2016.

After the girls voted to raise money for this worthwhile cause, they worked as a team to manage sales at several Girl Scout cookie booths.  Thanks to the generous customers and supporters in our community, the girls’ efforts produced robust results.  Everyone was thrilled by the opportunity to present the check to Operation Kindness.  Afterward, the exceptional volunteers at this wonderful organization gave the girls a tour of the facilities, and they felt proud to know that their funds were improving the lives of hundreds of cats and dogs awaiting permanent homes.
