Dads and kids gathered once again on April 16-17^th at UP Elementary for the 3^rd Annual UP All Night, a father-child urban campout put on by The University Park Preschool Association (UPPA) for families zoned to or attending University Park Elementary.  "UP All Night is our organization's biggest fundraiser for UP Elementary and we are so happy it has been such a huge success over the last few years", said Ashley Hughes, UPPA president.  The sold out event hosted about 310 families this year!  After a week of worrying about the potential for rainy weather, it turned out to be a great day for all the fun outdoor Curtis Park activities and camping on the school grounds.  Park activities included inflatables, obstacle course, zip line, catch and release fishing, foam arrow shooting range, laser tag, dunk tank, climbing wall, face painting, photo tent, arts and crafts and much more!  After the fun activities, everyone headed back to the school and enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by Burger House, Mimi's Pizzeria & Raising Cane’s while listening to live music.  The highlight of the evening was watching the children have the time of their lives during the “late night” glow-in-the-dark dance party with DJ Aaron.  The children wound down to a few of their favorite camping cartoons before heading back to the tent to for a good night sleep.  The children and dads were treated to a yummy breakfast of tacos, donuts, coffee and juice sponsored by Rusty Taco and Krispy Creme before packing up and heading home.
