"There's a silent epidemic running rampant in our school systems."

That's the crux of the film, "Race to Nowhere" showing at Highland Park United Methodist Church's Wesley Hall on January 8th.

Parents, students, educators and the general public are invited to a free showing of the film, which focuses on the problems facing the American school system, starting at 6 p.m. A discussion panel will be led by Tova Sido, Dan Myers, Richard Bohac, Candace Winslow, and Cathie Looney following the film.

Childcare is provided, contact kidcare@hpumc.org. Space is limited, so reserve childcare early.
