Summer Arts Camp
Know a creative kid? We believe you do - All kids are creative! Our Summer Arts College offers a unique opportunity for children ages 6-16* to learn from some of the area’s top artists. We are offering discounted registration fees NOW through April 30th. Visit artscouncilnortheast.org for more information - You can register and pay online for camps in the Colleyville, Grapevine, and Keller areas. 
 
June 19-23, Monday – Friday: 9am – 3:30pm – Covenant Christian Academy, Colleyville Elementary Camp
 
July 10-14, Monday – Friday: 9am – 3:30pm – First United Methodist Church, Grapevine Elementary Camp & Teen Camp
 
July 17-20, Monday – Thursday: 9am – 3:30pm – Florence Elementary, Keller Elementary Camp & Teen Camp
 
* Elementary Camp ages 6-12, must turn 6 by September 1st – Teen Camp ages 13-16, must turn 13 by September 1st
 
More than 5,798 students have attended our Summer Arts College with 2,241 scholarships over the past 21 years. This unique opportunity for children ages 6-16* to be a part of an imaginative, fun, week-long cultural experience that opens up children's minds and worlds, offering them skills they need for a bright future. Summer Arts College continues to fill a gap for students while they're out of school, allowing them to spend their summer vacation productively in a fun, creative, and educational environment.
 
Summer Arts Camps include:
 
• Set Design - Students will be an integral part of the design and creation of the set.
 
• Musical Theater - Students will learn creative songwriting, vocal, dance and acting skills in a creative, supportive and FUN environment, concluding with a performance. Imaginations welcome!
 
• Visual Art - Students will create works of art using techniques of the Great Masters - through painting, drawing, clay, and many other mediums.
 
Teen Camp: Just for teens age 13-16:
 
July 10-14, Monday – Friday: 9am – 3:30pm – First United Methodist Church, Grapevine
 
July 17-20, Monday – Thursday, 9am-3:30pm – Florence Elementary, KISD
 
Experience the excitement of producing a show! Classes will provide students with the opportunity to explore acting through short scenes, monologues, and improv. Students will design and create sets while learning songwriting and playwriting.
