Join the Sons of the Flag as they present the American Legacy Celebration at the Collin County Regional Airport in McKinney on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Kicking off Veterans Week, the American Legacy Celebration, in conjunction with the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, is an event never seen before, which will celebrate and honor those who have served our country and have survived burn injuries.

The family-friendly event will include modern and historic military aircraft and equipment, kids’ activities, musical entertainment and a balloon glow. The centerpiece moment will be a skydive featuring an United States veteran from each war, dating from World War II through present-day Afghanistan, as well as a former member of the New York Fire Department along with the United States Army Golden Knights. Celebrate this amazing feat and help raise awareness and support for military, first responder and civilian burn survivors.
