Some children thrive in a camp-like environment. Some kids are way out of their comfort zone, but all kids benefit from some type of camp-like event because of the independence and social skills that it builds. Sky Ranch, one of the leading North American Christian camps and its Launch Camps, offers your child an extraordinary day camp experience right in your neighborhood! It’s the perfect option for kids ages 5-11 who want to enjoy Sky Ranch Summer Camp, but are not quite ready to stay overnight.
Sky Ranch is excited to announce its 2013 schedule of Launch Camp Activities. Sky Ranch is known for fun, creative and interactive activities, and this year’s Launch Camp maintains that high standard of excellent activities. As in previous years, each day of Launch Camp has a different theme. This year’s themes are Highwire, #LTL (Larger than Life), Mission Impossible, Cruise-A-Palooza and Launch Day. Activities are based on the theme of the day, and counselors are dressed to match the theme. Campers can also participate with the purchase of a Launch Pack, which contains one of the same items the counselors will be wearing each day.
Every site does Highwire on Monday and Launch Day on Friday. The other three days rotate between three Launch Camp sites, so the specific day for the theme will depend on the site schedule for that week. At the end of each day, staff will provide parents with a handout containing specifics for the next day and a follow-up question to share with your camper based on the bible study that day.
