The Upper School at Lakehill provides a traditional, college preparatory course of study, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to be successful in college.

Upper School students have the opportunity to work with highly qualified, enthusiastic teachers, most of whom have advanced degrees. Students take required classes in English, social studies, science, mathematics, foreign language, computer science/technology, and fine arts. They also may choose from a wide array of electives and athletics. Since college preparation is a constant goal, all classes are considered to be at an honors level. Additionally, Advanced Placement courses are available, through teacher recommendation, in all academic areas and in fine arts.

Lakehill’s tradition of excellence is not confined solely to the classroom. In keeping with the school’s desire to produce well-rounded citizens, students are encouraged to take advantage of a wide variety of extracurricular offerings. Through participation in the myriad of Upper School clubs, honor societies, athletics, community service, and student organizations, opportunities for assuming leadership roles abound.

Find out more about Lakehill's award-winning academics, athletics, arts, and community service programs at the Upper School Admission Preview on Tuesday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. on the Main Campus at 2720 Hillside Drive. RSVP for the Admission Preview here.
