COPPELL – Texas Creative Arts Academy kicks off the holiday season with a month full of family-friendly and youth-oriented events!

On Saturday, Dec. 8, TCAA will host a Singing With Santa event, specifically targeting preschool and elementary-aged students. There will be two “seatings” in Coppell — 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The holiday event includes crafts and photos with Santa, and singing elves will perform for the attendees. Tickets are $15 each, and reservations can be made online. Pre-registration is required.

For parents looking for a night-out event for their kiddos, TCAA has one scheduled Parents Night Out this month. This event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Youth ages five to 14 are encouraged to attend. The evening’s events include performing a mini-musical of LEGALLY BLONDE – THE MUSICAL.

On Dec. 15 and 16, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD hits the TCAA Coppell stage. Waking from hibernation in the spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in their differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe and all charm, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD tells the story of a friendship that endures, weathering all seasons.

A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD performs two shows on Dec. 15-16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $15 and are available for purchase online at www.texascreativeartsacademy.com. There is limited seating, so advanced reservations are highly suggested.

When the holiday fun begins to fizzle out and the kids get restless, TCAA will host a Holiday Camp – How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Jan. 2-4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. These camps are for ages six to 14 and cost $150 per student for the week. Registration is available online.
