Summer is just around the corner, and there are many free activities at Wylie's Smith Public Library that families can enjoy together.

LEGO Family Build Days are Tuesday, June 12, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and Thursday, July 5, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Come show off your creativity by building with the library's LEGO and DUPLO in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Perot Museum Exhibits: Thursday, June 14, from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Awe-inspiring activities and demos that bring the Perot Museum to you! Learn about chain reactions, nutrition, weather and much more in this multi-station event, in the library's lobby.

Summer Concert: How about some cool jazz? Wylie Community Band's Jazz Ensemble performs in the library lobby Tuesday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Family Craft Day: Tuesday, July 3, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Get patriotic with some fun Fourth of July-inspired crafts, in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Harry Potter's Birthday Party: Friday, July 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. Games, trivia, wands, and owls! Come in your finest robes or dressed as your favorite character for the costume contest at 3 p.m. Fun geared toward third- through eighth-graders, but all are welcome!
