No High Heels at Klyde Warren Park

A small sign appeared over the weekend just outside the Children's Park at Klyde Warren Park asking patrons to ditch their high heeled shoes before entering the playground.
Considering the park's location, which is just outside the fashionable Uptown and Downtown neighborhoods, and Dallas women's love of lofty shoes, it's an unheard of request. Bubble Life got in touch with Klyde Warren Park's media representative to find out why stilettos are getting short shrift.
"We had to disallow stilleto high heel shoes," Lauren Smart said, "because they puncture the rubber play surface in the Children's Park."
Perhaps it's a good idea to pack a pair of sneaks before heading to Klyde Warren Park, ladies. Find a full lineup of daily events for the Uptown park on its website.
