On December 1, the Middle School Competition Theatre class at Lakehill Preparatory School attended the Warriors Wild Thing Tournament at South Grand Prairie High School.
Two Lakehill students advanced to the Semi-finals round within their events: Ellis Langford with Prose and Poetry and Kole Cannon with his Humorous Interpretation. The Group Improv team of Cannon, Jeremiah Blanco, Isabel Ketterson, and Willow Turkyilmaz also advanced to Semi-finals.
Anna Knickel advanced to Finals in two events, earning seventh place overall in Poetry and first place in Storytelling. The Lakehill team was awarded second place as Most Efficient Team which was based on the percentage of the team advancing in the tournament.
"I am thrilled with the results of Lakehill's first foray into the Middle School Theatre Competition world," said sponsor Mark Guerra. "I am excited to see what we can accomplish next semester."
