For the holidays, fourth-grade students at Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) collected more than 1,000 boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a national project to deliver gifts to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine and disease. Students at TCA filled the boxes with toys, books, notes and hygiene items.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization, with a mission to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies. This is the 18th year TCA students have participated in the nationwide event.
