From preschool through 12th grade, DIS students are introduced to a global perspective through our unique multilingual and multicultural academic programs. Students grow in an international environment and challenge themselves, explore their creativity and increase their confidence and metacognitive skills as they learn in two or more languages.

We know that finding the right school is important for your child's development. Studies have shown that foreign language immersion enhances a student's ability to succeed in other areas. Dallas International School is the only private school in DFW to offer a bilingual education from grades pre-K2 through 12.
ACADEMICS
We Are Truly International

Dallas International School follows the French national academic curriculum and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills guidelines in primary and middle school. In high school, students choose one of two baccalaureate programs – the French baccalaureate or the International baccalaureate – for their final two years. Both programs are rigorous, worldwide pre-university courses that meet the needs of highly motivated high school students.

ADMISSIONS

At Dallas International School we educate our students to be global citizens.

Students in grades EC2 through 12 receive a bilingual French and English education.
In high school, DIS offers the option to pursue an advanced bilingual diploma, with IB curriculum taught in English.
Third language instruction includes: Spanish, Mandarin, and German.
With over 33 nationalities represented at DIS, students are exposed to many cultures and perspectives.
Together the French and American curriculum give students a diverse, global education.
The exchange program in high school allows students to discover a new country while continuing their studies at a partner school.

By teaching more than just the essentials, we prepare students for college and beyond.
