K-Pop Prom Coming to Smith Library

Central Standard Time

Smith Public Library
300 Country Club Rd., Bldg. 300
Wylie, Texas 75098

Do you secretly do BTS routines in front of your bedroom mirror? Do you already have tickets for Blackpink's world tour? Is your favorite cake Red Velvet? If so, mark your calendar for Thursday, March 14, when Smith Public Library presents a K-Pop Prom, complete with dancing husband-and-wife duo David and Chantha from K-Pop Dance Dallas, who will teach original K-Pop choreography.

This event is for kids in grades six through 12 and will be in the Multipurpose Room from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free and no registration is required; it's a come-and-go program. You'll make your own crown and sash (everyone will be a prom queen or king!) and then David and Chantha will be teaching everyone how to move like your K-Pop idols. Fancy attire is optional, but come dressed to move.

For more information, call 972-516-6250 or visit . Smith Public Library is part of the Wylie Municipal Complex at 300 Country Club Rd., Wylie 75098.
