It's never to early to teach a child the value of giving back. At least that's the philosophy behind Wee Volunteer, an organization that pairs parents and children ages 3 and older with non-profits to tackle projects big and small.

Wee Volunteer and their gaggle of good Samaritans have made some significant headway with several well-known Dallas non-profits including Community Partners of Dallas, where kids and parents collected and organized school supplies for a recent drive.

Community Partners of Dallas serves over 16,000 children in the Dallas area! They need our help to pack 2,000 backpacks with school supplies for underprivileged children. We will learn about the programs offered by Community Partners, take a tour, help with backpacks and school supplies and celebrate our work with pizza!

Join Wee Volunteer at the Dallas Furniture Bank! Learn about the Dallas Furniture Bank and how they make a BIG difference, dust off some furniture and eat some yummy pizza! This will be a fun, educational project that will help an amazing organization!

Wee Volunteer invites you and your children to deliver meals on LOCOMOTION PARTY BUS for Meals On Wheels. After our deliveries we will tour the volunteer kitchen and learn about Meals On Wheels!

August 22nd - 4:00-4:45 - Musical Outreach Project at Presbyterian Village North
Please join Wee Volunteer and Mommy Manders for a FREE family music class at Presbyterian Village North retirement community. Lowery Manders will lead the kids in song and movement with the residents at PVN.

August 23rd 4:30-6:30 - Lemonade Stand for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation 
fighting childhood cancer

Join us for a lemonade stand at Northaven Gardens from 4:30-6:30. We will give away free lemonade to customers and passersby and use a bull horn (or two) to call for donations. We will eat pizza and party while we work! This is a fun project! We raised over $100 last year. Please look at last summer's pictures on Facebook!

August 25th 9:30-11:30 and 11:30-1:30 - Brother Bills Helping Hand

Each year the Saturday before school starts means fun, food, and school supplies for elementary school children at BBHH. We need two groups of volunteers at two different times to help pass out school supplies and lunches. 

Appropriate for ages 4 and up.
