Wylie's Smith Public Library has interesting and entertaining programs planned for kids of all ages during the month of June.

Family Craft Day - Out of this World Crafts is Tuesday, June 11, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Families are invited to use their imagination and make space-themed crafts. All materials are provided, and this is a come-and-go program.

Elementary-age kids stay active and engaged. Programs offered Tuesdays at 10 and 11 a.m. include Wildlife on the Move, June 18; and Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, June 25. Evening programs, offered Thursday at 6 p.m., include ScienceTellers, June 13; Wildlife on the Move, June 20; A Play on Swords -- Pirates: History vs. Hollywood.

Free wristbands are required to attend, as space is limited due to fire code. Wristbands are handed out in the lobby beginning at 9 a.m. on the day of the program.

Smith Library hasn't forgotten Tweens entering grades four through six; programs are offered at 3 p.m. Tuesdays. Galaxy Mugs and Trail Mix is on June 11, Wildlife on the Move is June 18; and Out of This World Terrariums is June 25.

Registration is required and opens two weeks prior to the program date with a link on the Kids Page at WylieTexas.gov/library. Space may be limited.

Teens, entering grades six through 12, have plenty to do also. Offered at 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays are Awful Art Showcase, June 12; YouTube Workshop, June 13; Cosplay 101, June 19; Cupcake Wars June 20; and Dungeons and Dragons, Part 1 and 2, June 26 and 27.

Registration is required and opens two weeks prior to the program date with a link on the Teen Page at WylieTexas.gov/library. Space may be limited.
