Cross Cheer Camps Cross Cheer is offering two winter camp sessions at Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Just because school is out for Thanksgiving and winter breaks doesn't mean you have to succumb to the constant chants of "I'm bored, mom!" Keep kids busy, engaged and entertained with camps that focus on subjects like volunteering, thankfulness and even cheerleading.

Camp Thankful

Enjoy Thanksgiving-themed activities and art projects, gym, music, and social hall with our talented Kidville staff.

I Will Save The World founders, Jenna Arnold and Melissa Plaskoff will also empower your child by making socks, gloves, and cards to help keep Hurricane Sandy victims warm in the Rockaways. Each camper will receive a "Purpose Pack" from I Will Save The World and 25 percent of proceeds from the "Purpose Pack" will be donated to City Harvest which is serving as an emergency shelter for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The camp, which is open to children ages 3 to 6, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 19 - 21. The cost is $225 for all three days, and lunch and a healthy snack are included. Sign up today by calling Kidville at 214-378-7777. Kidville is located at 6025 Royal Lane, suite 130.
