Walter Sorensen, St. Alcuin Head of School, congratulates students Millie Castoldi, Erik Spafford, Lindy Smith, Jack Anderson, Zachary Bashour and Asher Babilla for their contributions to Jump for Heart.

Leah Oliver, Youth Market Director, S. Ft. Worth American Heart Assoc., recently visited St. Alcuin Montessori School to thank a group of students for their participation in the "Jump Rope for Heart" fundraiser. During P.E. class, the students jumped rope and participated in other activities to help promote wellness and generate awareness for the organization. Thanks to St. Alcuin coaches Andy Silverman and Jordan Pierson, the students also learned more about importance of the heart—how it works, and how to take care of it. The children received t-shirts, jump ropes and playground balls as a special token of appreciation from the American Heart Association.
