St. Alcuin Montessori School Parent Dean Fearing, Chef/Partner of Fearing’s Restaurant, joined Walter Sorensen, Head of School, at the Annual Field Day Festivities on campus yesterday. The students enjoyed Sorensen’s “World Famous Hot Dogs” topped with a delicious Southwest chili prepared and served by Chef Fearing, along with the help of St. Alcuin faculty and staff. Field Day is a last-week-of-school tradition hosted by Athletic Director Kay Herndon and the outstanding coaches in the St. Alcuin Athletic Department.  Students participated in a variety of sports, water activities, tied-dyed crafts and games on St. Alcuin’s sprawling athletic field. The event emphasized fun physical activity, sportsmanship and camaraderie to celebrate the end of another successful school year at St. Alcuin.
