- Perot Museum’s 1st birthday celebration filled with music, dancing and cake – Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. (rain or shine) will include an encore presentation from BANDALOOP, an internationally renowned aerial movement dance troupe that seamlessly weaves dynamic physicality, intricate choreography, and the art of climbing to turn the dance floor on its side. A pioneer in vertical performance, BANDALOOP stunned visitors last year on opening day as they danced against the concrete walls of the Perot Museum; you won’t want to miss this year’s performance! BANDALOOP (bandaloop.org) also will perform at 12:30 and 2 p.m.
- ANIMAL INSIDE OUT, a BODY WORLDS Production. The Museum’s first-ever traveling exhibition takes visitors on an anatomical safari exploring 100 plastinated specimens from goats and giraffes, bulls to birds, to octopuses and ostriches. ANIMAL INSIDE OUT, created by anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, brings fascinating animal biology to life in this unforgettable Museum experience! This is only the second U.S. stop for this exhibit, which debuted in Europe.
ANIMAL INSIDE OUT TICKET INFORMATION.An additional timed-entry ticket is required to see ANIMAL INSIDE OUT and includes a timed-entry general exhibit hall ticket. Non-members can purchase bundled, timed-entry ANIMAL INSIDE OUT/Perot Museum general exhibits tickets for $27 for adults (18-64), $18 for children (2-11; under 2 are free), and $22 for youth (12-17) and seniors (65+). Museum members receive free general exhibit hall admission and discounted admission for ANIMAL INSIDE OUTat $15 for adults, $11 for children and $13 for youth.

Bugs! 3D brings viewers face-to-face microscopically with some of the world's smallest inhabitants. Bugs! is a breakthrough live-action nature film that explores the lives of an old-world praying mantis and a beautiful butterfly. Length: 23 minutes
Mysteries of the Unseen World take audiences to places on this planet that they have never been before, to see things that are beyond their normal vision, yet literally right in front of their eyes. High-speed and time-lapse photography, electron microscopy, and nanotechnology are just a few of the advancements used so audiences can see a whole new universe of things, events, creatures, and processes. Length: 40 minutes
Titans of the Ice Age transports viewers to the beautiful and otherworldly frozen landscapes of North America, Europe and Asia 10,000 years before modern civilization. Enter a time when humans shared the tundra with majestic woolly beasts, from saber-toothed cats and cave bears to dire wolves and woolly mammoths — giants both feared and hunted by prehistoric humans. Length: 24 minutes
- SAMSUNG GALAXY TABLETS. Check out the new Samsung Galaxy Tab® 3 8.0 tablets that provide bilingual content (in English and Spanish) and enhance visitor experiences in popular exhibits within three of the Museum’s permanent halls. The hand-held devices also include a digital visitor’s guide to help users navigate their visit to the Museum. The Samsung tablets are free of charge (one per family) on a first-come, first served basis. A driver’s license is required for check out.
Discovery Days – Earth, Air and Water: Discover the Dynamic Earth. Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visitors will get to explore the amazing resources of the earth, discover habitats of interesting creatures, conduct experiments with scientists, and even create a storm system. Journey around the earth and beyond in the Museum’s Portable Universe shows throughout the day. For all ages and FREE as part of Museum’s general admission.
Countries, Cultures and Kids: All Aboard the Polar Express. Dec. 14 from 11 a.m.-noon in the Lower Level Auditorium. Visitors will meet professional storyteller and entertainer, Kynisha Ducre, for an animated reading of the Caldecott Award-winning holiday story The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Activities include a glitter holiday tattoo artist, a holiday balloon twister and craft tables to create a transportation craft after the performance plus enjoy a holiday cookie and sample a delicious warm chocolate drink! For all ages and FREE as part of Museum’s general admission.
Creative Minds, Busy Hands. What could be better than a handmade gift created by a son or daughter to mark a special occasion? These engagingworkshops for children ages 3-5 give kids the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic tools and media to create a gift for that special someone! Gift-making workshops are Dec. 14 for mother (9 a.m.-noon) and father (1-4 p.m.); Dec. 17 for grandparents (9 a.m.-noon); Dec. 18 for mothers (9 a.m.-noon) and Dec. 19 for fathers (9 a.m.-noon). Space very limited; cost is $50 per child (classes include a Museum gallery exploration).
- CHARTER MEMBERSHIPS The perfect gift for all ages, Charter Membership benefits range from free general exhibit hall admission for the 12-month membership period and discounted admission to ticketed exhibitions, lectures, programs and special events to discounts on parking and purchases in the Museum Shop and Café. Household level members receive additional benefits dependent on level, such as exhibit and theater guest passes and KIDS CLUB! memberships.
Individual and Household level Charter memberships (personal and gift) are $45 for students, $65 for individuals, $80 for dual memberships, $100 for Family, $160 for Family Plus, and $250 for Family Plus Platinum (plus additional discounts for 2-year memberships). MUSEUM GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET PRICES (which alone DO NOT include admission to ANIMAL INSIDE OUT) are $15 for adults (18-64), $12 for youth (12-17) and seniors (65+), and $10 for children (2-11). Admission to the theater is $5 (short film) and $8 (long film) for adults, students, seniors and children. For members, general exhibit hall admission is always free, and admission to the theater is $5 (short film) and $6 (long film).
