North Texans with Down syndrome attend Rhett's Roadies.

More than 1,000 North Texans attended Rhett’s Roadies, a free acoustic concert featuring 10 Texas country musicians and a live and silent auction held each year to benefit the Down syndrome community of North Texas. This year, the event raised more than $56,000 for The Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas, KinderFrogs at TCU and The Fort Worth Dream Park.

The event featured acoustic performances by Austin Allsup (contestant on NBC's “The Voice” this season), Cody Canada, Dalton Domino, Jason Eady, Steve Helms, Austin Meade, Stoney Larue, Courtney Patton, Parker McCollum and Mike Ryan. Since the event’s inception five-years-ago, Rhett’s Roadies has raised more than $200k for organizations that support children with Down syndrome and special needs.

Named after five-year-old Rhett Gabbert, Rhett's Roadies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that organizes an annual fund-raising event to benefit North Texas children with Down syndrome.
