Three Weeks of Summer Camps to go, and our Campers are having a blast at North Park Presbyterian Church.

We've done all the usual science camp stuff, but this year, we're also enjoying basketball games and foosball tournaments. Over the next few weeks, Campers will learn Ping Pong during their "free play" time!

Because late July and August Camps are nearly full, we will NOT be accepting any daily drop-ins for those. However, you still have one more week to hang with us and do anything from flying giant balloons to building mini-catapults. Here are the details:

July 21 - 25 is Rylie's DaVinci Camp

Inspired by Leonardo DaVinci’s notebooks, campers will make a Mini Catapult, Action Figure Parachute, Foam Cube Castle, hand-made “flippers”, giant Vitruvian selves, and more! If your kids like using tools or building structures, this is right up their alley. (Camp was named for Lab Rat Rylie, who had the original idea for the camp.)

Drop-in rate is $75.00 and includes Extended Day care.

For more information, or to register for the whole week of Camp, visit our website's "Programs" pageIf you are strictly dropping in, please note that we cannot accept PayPal or Credit Card payments, so you should bring cash or check the day you camp. If you have questions about subject matter, location, lunches, etc., please email us.

Tuesday, June 10 – Tie Dye project with Hilari Younger, owner of Ufunkshen; Soap-making with Dylan & Company. (Everyone takes home the items they make!)

Wednesday, June 11 – “Trash Becomes Treasure” with the Texas Worm Ranch and Earth-themed experiments with The Lab Dallas. Whip-up a mud-themed snack with chef Graham Dodds of Hibiscus.

Each day stands alone, so come for one event or for all three! While Camp was made for the kids, parents will certainly learn something new, too, from our super cool group of volunteers!

Three of our Camps are almost full!

This means five or fewer open spots remain for these Camps:

June 16-20   LET’S GET PHYSICAL!

June 30-July 3   ART MEETS SCIENCE

August 11-15  CHEMISTRY KIDS MINI + LET'S GET PHYSICAL MINI

We will likely close enrollment to these Camps before they begin. Don't wait!

For more information, or for the link to pay, please click HERE.

If you have a question, EMAIL US.

Please note: I can no longer "hold spots" in any of these three Camps, so please act now!

We cannot wait for Summer to begin, so we can "play science" with your kids!

The Lab 2014 - "We're Going Places!"

The Lab Rats have certainly learned the meaning of the words "embrace change," and we would like to invite you to join us for the ride.

Below, you will find links to our new Calendar of Events, new Pinterest account, and Summer Camp schedule. You can look out for some changes coming to our website this month, too.

Many of our Camp programs have been revised. So, if your child has attended a certain Camp before, they may want to attend again. All of the Camps coming in 2014 have 50% new or changed activites and experiments.

We have started a program for "Junior Helpers" (kids who were campers, and have reached twelve years or older), and we've hired three new Lab Rats who will bring their special talents and personalities to Camp this Summer and into 2015.

Come think with us. We love the company!

As all of you know, I love Wee Volunteer and for those that came out to see us at the Communities Foundation of Texas, thank you!  We had a blast.  Wee Volunteer even had a service project for little ones!

Today is North Texas Giving Day and is a big day for Wee Volunteer so please don't forget to give today too!

Even a small donation makes a huge impact at Wee Volunteer.    Every donation of $25 and above will be multiplied if you donate through the link before midnight tonight!

Wee Volunteer is committed to providing family volunteering opportunities for our youngest community members. Your donation will sustain existing projects as well as support the creation and implementation of new programs that will help meet the needs of our rapidly growing volunteer family. Plus, gifts given TODAY BEFORE MIDNIGHT will receive a portion of $1 million in bonus funds--making your dollar go further.

Let's teach our kids the value of helping others by lending a "wee" little hand.

Please give and thanks in advance!
