The Dallas Zoo announces its new Zoo Tunes Concert Series, produced in partnership with Kessler Entertainment Group. The first show on August 11, features The King Bucks, hitting the stage at 8 p.m. The opening band kicks off the concert at 7 p.m.

“The Zoo Tunes Concert Series is great for all ages and perfect for an evening out with the family,” said Gregg Hudson, executive director of the Dallas Zoo and Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park. “We hope Zoo Tunes will become a tradition families can look forward to each year.”

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children (ages 3-11) and day-of tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children. Members of the Dallas Zoo receive a discount. Parking is $5 per vehicle and can be pre-purchased along with the tickets on www.DallasZoo.com.

For music lovers and animal enthusiasts alike, guests will enjoy live music, animal exhibits, and much more. The King Bucks’ music forges a unique union between traditional country, boogie, rockabilly and soul. The members of this band performed together for many musical events prior to their debut at Texas’ famous Mesquite Rodeo.

With free bounce houses, $5 camel rides, and $2 Endangered Species Carousel rides, Zoo
Tunes is an evening full of entertainment for the whole family. Lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers are
permitted. Festival food as well as beer and wine will be available for purchase; no outside alcohol will be permitted.

The Zoo Tunes Concert Series includes three concerts beginning in August and running through October. The second concert takes place Friday, September 14, featuring Satisfaction, the international touring tribute to the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band: The Rolling Stones. The third show in the Zoo Tunes Concert Series is on Saturday, October 6, featuring FastLane, the Southwest's premier tribute band to the Eagles.
