Calling all mini Jedis!  LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth will host LEGO Star Wars Weekend Saturday, September 7 - Sunday, September 8 featuring special model and MINIFIGURE builds, a kids costume contest, attraction-wide scavenger hunt, Jedi fighter certification and a visit from 501st Legion costumed characters.

LEGO Star Wars Weekend Activities:

• Star Wars Scavenger Hunt:  While hunting for LEGO Star Wars figures, use the clues throughout the attraction to find the correct answers in our scavenger hunt for a chance to win fun prizes.   All day Saturday and Sunday.

• Jedi Fighter Certification:  Learn lightsaber moves to become a certified Jedi fighter.  Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the event rooms.

• 501st Legion Costumed Characters:  Mingle and take photos with your favorite Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion.  Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Star Wars Minifigure Builds:  With a $1 donation to Merlin’s Magic Wand, a worldwide charity for children, build a LEGO Star Wars minifigure to be added to the attraction’s new Star Wars MINILAND.  Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Master Model Builder Showcase:  Join our Master Model Builder to build a special Star Wars-themed model.  Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Café area.

• Star Wars Trivia Contest:  Meet in the Café to test your Star Wars knowledge. Winners receive a special prize.  Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Star Wars Kid’s Costume Contest:  Come in your best Star Wars gear and have your picture snapped to participate in our Facebook costume contest.  Age groups include: two and under, three to five, six to eight, and nine to 12.  Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Facebook Model Build Contest:  Are you a building master?  Show us on Facebook by posting your best Star Wars LEGO creation for a chance to win four tickets to Star Wars Weekend.  The picture with the most “likes” wins!  Contest will begin Monday, August 19 and end Monday, August 26.  Winner announced Friday, August 30.  Post your photos at: www.Facebook.com/ldcdallasfortworth

• Early Admission for Annual Pass Holders:  Annual Pass Holders will be able to enter the attraction one hour early at 9 a.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. on Sunday and receive a free Star Wars activity lanyard button.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Hours: Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - attraction remains open two hours after last admission.  No re-entry is allowed after you leave the attraction.
