The North Texas branch of the Easter Seals will give a "hats off" to some exceptional women at the Oct. 24 "Hats Off to Mothers" luncheon.

Five women — Leigh Attaway-Wilcox, Margaret Hancock, Tincy Miller, Sanka Stalcup and Terry                        Wilson-Gray — will be recognized for their exceptional impact on the Dallas community and their dedication to their children, family and friends. Proceeds from the event, which starts at 11 a.m. at the Adolphus Hotel, will support the Easter Seals mission of helping those with disabilities and special needs experience independence.
